Regarding measures taken in response to the approaching typhoon

Dear Customers,

As of 3:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, the Japan Meteorological Agency announced that a tropical depression forming near the Caroline Islands is expected to develop into a typhoon within the next 24 hours.

The system is forecast to strengthen further as it moves northwestward east of the Philippines, potentially reaching the area south of Okinawa by Monday, June 1. According to current forecasts, the typhoon may approach Okinawa early next week and could have a direct impact on the region.

As severe weather conditions are possible, we kindly ask all residents to closely monitor upcoming weather forecasts and take the following precautions in advance:

•Securing Outdoor Items

Please move potted plants, clotheslines, garbage bins, and any other loose items from balconies or outdoor areas indoors, or ensure they are securely fastened to prevent them from being blown away by strong winds.

•Cleaning Balcony and Rooftop Drains

Leaves, dirt, and debris accumulated in drains may obstruct water flow during heavy rainfall, potentially causing flooding or water leakage to lower floors. We kindly ask residents to clean drains regularly to help prevent such issues.

•Garage Precautions

Residents with garages are requested to install the support poles after closing their garage shutters.

Please also note that, depending on the typhoon’s development and severity, our office may temporarily close for safety reasons. Any updates regarding office operations will be announced here accordingly.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Please stay safe.
